Police in Moradabad busted an interstate scheme for obtaining passports on forged documents. Two detained. Seized: Aadhaar and PAN cards, birth certificates, bank records, voter IDs, electricity bills, school report cards.

The second translucent photo on a card is laser engraving inside the plastic. It has depth: the image lives within the material, not on top.
A "ghost" drawn as a simple transparency layer looks like a sticker. Flat, no volume, no light physics inside the plastic.

Reportedly, scammers accessed an Italian government body's email and spent months requesting Revolut customer data while posing as law enforcement. The bank replied. With attachments.

They then demanded $3 million in Monero. Revolut refused to pay but offered to cover document replacement costs for affected customers.

Canada, Durham Region. October 8, a 39-year-old from Brampton arrived at a dealership to pick up a 2027 Mercedes-Benz SUV. She didn't leave in it.
The scheme: September 30, an online auto loan application. In the package – a Canadian passport: her photo, someone else's data. The loan was approved. The document worked.
The failure came at the finish line: she showed up for the car in person. On camera, face to face with live documents. The dealership turned out to be the final checkpoint.
The document passed online. The human failed offline. The "file + carrier" pair breaks at either end.
